Kate Moss Dresses in Galliano for Her Fabulous Wedding
On July 1 local time, the long anticipated wedding of Kate Moss and Jamie Hince is held and the question about the choice of wedding gown for this super model bride has finally be answered – it is from the master John Galliano's designs! Meanwhile, the suit design for the husband Jamie Hince is also revealed. Now let us go and check out this fabulous wedding.
As the other Kate’s grand wedding in this year, this wedding of Kate Moss and Jamie Hince has always been attracting the most attention from the global fashion industry and the designer for the wedding gown has always been rumored to have several “suspects”. Vivienne Westwood even breaks the news that Kate will design her own wedding gown. But eventually as we see, the supermodel chooses her old close friend who Kate has known for 20 years -- the former design director of Dior John Galliano.
On June 25, LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault has publicly released an order that not a single affiliated luxury brand of his group can hire John Galliano ever. Kate Moss’ generous offer and friendly gesture in inviting him to design wedding gown for her is particularly warm and touching. Those two close friends know and understand each other very well. As the words John Galliano give to commend Kate go: “Over so many years, Kate has been inspiring me with her beauty that can overthrow all traditional standards as well as her individual insights on fashion. No one can ever do better than her to interpret flawless perfection.”
John Galliano’s design in this wedding gown has a very retro vibe. The combination of minor perspective design coupled with studded sequins perfectly brings out the bride’s outstanding temperament and also promises a new chapter for Kate Moss’s life.
As for the not so much revealed wedding shoes, they are designed by the legendary British shoemaker Manolo Blahnik and the hairstyle of the bride is done by Sam McKnight -- the godfather in the hair design industry, who has accompanied the late British Princess Diana since 1990 till her death to help her design the iconic hairstyle.
Wearing this wedding gown designed by the John Galliano with great blessing, Kate Moss officially set on the marriage journey with her husband Jamie Hince and starts their long anticipated new life of “happily ever after” together.
